Cops Nab Pinkberry Bandit Who Stole $1,600 From West Village Shop
Elijah Davis was arrested and charged with robbing the Pinkberry on Sixth Avenue and 14th Street in November, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — A man accused of beating up two Pinkberry employees then stealing $1,600 in cash from the frozen yogurt store's safe has been arrested, police announced Tuesday.
Elijah Davis, 24, was charged with robbery for breaking into the Pinkberry at 523 Sixth Ave. with another man around 10:25 p.m. on Nov. 22, police said.
One of the robbers pulled out a gun and forced two employees — a 42-year-old man and a 21-year-old man — into the back of the store, police said.

Davis and his accomplice beat up the two Pinkberry workers, then demanded they open a safe with $1,600 in cash inside it, said police.
The two robbers fled the store and their victims were treated at Lenox Hill Hospital for cuts and bruises, police said.

Police announced Davis’ arrest on Tuesday night, almost exactly two months after the robbery took place.
Davis, of The Bronx, has been charged with one count of robbery, said police.
