WEST VILLAGE, NY — The cronut's creator is partnering with Shake Shack to unveil their latest breakfast creation — milk bread stuffed with steamed egg and miso-honey mayo.

Pastry chef Dominique Ansel and Shake Shack will team up this weekend in the West Village for the Japanese sandwich-inspired breakfast item as well as a maple milk latte, Forbes reported.

For $8, Shake Shack will serve the Egg Katsu Sando with a steamed egg that will be breaded in panko and cried, served on Dominique Ansel's milk bread with miso-honey mayo.

Forbes reported the collaboration is not the first. Previously, Ansel has revealed a cronut hole concrete and a sweet-and-savory banoffee shake to Shake Shack's menu for a limited time.

The burger joint announced its move to the West Village in 2017. It is the 22nd Shake Shack in the city, known for its so-called "Innovation Kitchen," where chef collaborations and new menu items are crafted.
