Cyndi Lauper, Todrick Hall To Join Virtual Stonewall Concert

The Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative will host an online fundraising concert Thursday to raise money for LGBTQ nightlife workers.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, MANHATTAN — A star-studded line-up of performers will join forces on Thursday to raise money for LGBTQ nightlife workers who may be struggling because of the coronavirus pandemic.

The virtual concert — headlined by Cyndi Lauper, Todrick Hall and others — will be hosted by the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative, the nonprofit organization of the historic Greenwich Village bar.

The two-hour performance will be hosted by activist and YouTuber Tyler Oakley and Ru Paul Drag Race's Michelle Visage.

Money raised through the concert will go to those who have worked in the LGBTQ nightlife industry for at least a year and use it as their main source of income. Those workers can apply for a grant on the Stonewall Inn Gives Back Initiative website and will be chosen based on need by the organization's grant committee.
