February 1, 2019 - Bishops Cuts/Color will open their first hair shop in NYC’s Greenwich Village on Saturday February 16, with an open house event the night before – February 15. The Portland, Oregon based unisex hair shop is a cross of a hair salon and a barbershop. With shops in 14 states plus the District of Columbia, Bishops offers a-la carte pricing for haircuts, color services, trims, styling, shaves, blowouts, Keratin treatments and more! Open 7 days a week from the early morning to the late night with an unpretentious staff plus affordability ensures that Bishops makes self-care and hair care accessible and convenient for all ages and all genders. Bishops is more than a place to get a haircut; it’s a community space that will always support you and your style, however you want to express it, judgement free.
Founded in Portland in 2001 by Leo Rivera as the alternative to overpriced salons and boring chop shops, Bishops was one of the first to introduce customers to the ‘all-ages and all-genders are welcome’ hair care experience.
