Misha T. on Yelp said, "It's so hard to find coffee shops in NYC that are actually trying to be study/work spaces but the Coffee Foundry is secure in it's identity, and provides the sort of cold caffeinated space where I'm at my most productive."
Insider's Tip: The front door is a little tricky to find. Look for the Karaoke Boho sign.

This gourmet coffee shop on 44 Charles St. is incredibly cozy and welcoming. The big windows looking out at Seventh Avenue provide great people-watching opportunities and plenty of natural sunlight. Toby's offers a seasonal menu of single origin coffee, Matcha lattes, and a small bites menu with items like avocado toast and pastries. While this coffee shop is a little more social, there are still tons of people working.

Roasting Plant is a quaint coffee shop on 75 Greenwich Avenue with an interesting twist: you first choose your coffee bean, then you watch it get sucked overhead into vacuum tubes, then it's grounded and roasted to create the perfect fresh cup of coffee. Roasting Plant not only provides an entertainment aspect, it also has free Wifi, many outlets and study spaces.
Rinku K. said on Yelp, "Experience a coffee with personality, from the moment it is conceived — and yes, you will watch the Miracle of Roasting as your little coffee bean crowns through a pneumatic hole into a roasting organ and drips into your cup."
Insider's Tip: You can purchase beans to bring home.
