HUDSON SQUARE, NY — The über sustainable 555 Greenwich St. is nearly done with construction, according to reports.

Built by Trinity Church Wall Street and Norges Bank Investment Management, the 270,000 square-foot, 16-story office tower appears to need little additional work to its exterior, according to New York YIMBY, who took a look at the green new building earlier this week.

The building's gigantic window panes are all installed, according to the real estate site, as well as its brick facade, leaving only a few areas left to be worked on.

Once finished, the state-of-the-art sustainable building to be a showcase of how future New York City buildings can help reduce climate impact. The building will achieve these climate gains by the use of all-electrical and geo-thermal heat to eliminate on-site use of fossil fuels, radiant heating and cooling as well as a dedicated outside air system, according to the developer.

The building will also have expansive outdoor space, with 33,000 square feet across 11 landscaped terraces.
