Lower Manhattan Pizzerias Feel The Love On Instagram
A new ranking of the most photographed U.S. pizza places on Instagram has eight Lower Manhattan pizzerias in the top 100.

LOWER MANHATTAN, NY — The phone eats first is a creed taken very seriously by more than thousands of people visiting the most popular pizzerias in Lower Manhattan.
The area is famed for its tasty pizza, and a new ranking put together a list of the 100 pizza joints with the most geo-tagged pictures on Instagram in the United States.
The rankings are dominated by pizzerias in New York City, with 18 establishments making the list, including the No. 1 ranked Eataly. The Flatiron location has had over 200,000 people tag Instagram pictures at the pizzeria.

Out of the 18 pizza places from New York City on the list, eight of the joints are in Lower Manhattan.
In total, people have taken a staggering 134,859 pictures at the eight pizza places scattered around the West Village, Greenwich Village, SoHo, and Little Italy.
