Man Raids $1,500 Of Goods From Locked Down Village Candy Store

WEST VILLAGE, MANHATTAN — Cops are looking for a man who stole $1,500 worth of merchandise from a candy store at the West Fourth Street subway station.

The man broke into the Grab & Go store's locked front door at 388 Avenue of the Americas at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5, police said.

Once inside, he took more than $1,500-worth of products from the store. Police did not specify what types of merchandise he stole.
