Man Walks To ER After Getting Shot In The Neck On Train Platform

The shooting took place on the 1, 2, 3 train platform at 14th Street and 7th Avenue in the West Village, according to the police.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Police are looking for the person who shot a 24-year-old man in the neck on a subway platform in the West Village.

The shooting took place Sunday around 6 p.m. on the platform of the 1, 2, 3, train at 14th Street and 7th Avenue, according to police.

After getting shot in the neck, the 24-year-old man had enough strength to walk himself to the Lenox Health Greenwich Village hospital, police said. The man was treated for his injury and is currently in stable condition.

The walk from the 14th Street train platform to Lenox Health is 194 feet, according to Google Maps.
