Michael Moore to Release 'Surprise' Donald Trump Documentary Tuesday
The documentary, "Michael Moore in TrumpLand" will be screened Tuesday night in New York before it is officially released.
NEW YORK, NY — A surprise documentary by filmmaker Michael Moore about Republican nominee for president Donald Trump will screen Tuesday night, Moore announced.
Tickets to the screening at the IFC Center are free and first-come, first-serve. After the screening Tuesday, the film will officially be released Oct. 19.
The film, "Michael Moore in TrumpLand," is a one-man show that Moore originally planned to perform and film at the Midland Theater in Newark, Ohio. However, Moore shared on Facebook that he was banned from performing the show there. Moore was reportedly told by theater officials that he is "too controversial" and the risk is "too great." He later wrote that he was allowed to perform and film his show at the Murphy Theater in Wilmington, Ohio.
