NYPD Looking For Man Who Tried to Rob West Village Bank
The man fled the bank when the teller didn't immediately comply, police said.

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Police are trying to identify a man who attempted to rob a Chase Bank in the West Village on Dec. 7.
At around 3:45 p.m., the man (pictured above) entered the Chase Bank at 204 W. 4th St. and passed a note to the female teller that demanded money, police said.
The man fled on foot when the teller didn't immediately comply. No money was taken and there were no injuries, police told Patch.

Police described the suspect as a white or hispanic male, standing 5-foot-seven and weighing about 170 pounds. The man was wearing a black ski cap, red jacket, dark-colored pants and grey sneakers, police said.
