Instead of a simple trip for chicken, two people were left with cuts to the face, ears and knees at a Greenwich Village Popeye's, cops said.

GREENWICH VILLAGE, NY — A late night trip for fast food chicken turned violent after two people were attacked in a Greenwich Village Popeye's, according to police.
Police released photos Thursday of three people wanted for starting an unprovoked fight with a 28-year-old man and a 28-year-old woman inside a Popeye's at 305 Avenue of the Americas (Sixth Avenue) about 3:45 a.m. on Sept. 3.
The pair of 28-year-olds were standing inside the store when a man and two women instigated an argument with them that quickly turned violent, police said.
