This West Village Joint Ranks As The Best Ice Cream Shop In NY

WEST VILLAGE, NY — Morgenstern's Finest Ice Cream serves up the best scoops of chocolate, vanilla, coffee, and other ice cream flavors in the state, according to a recent ranking from the Daily Meal.

The food website's list of "America's Best Ice Cream Shops" crowns the ice cream shop in the West Village as the best of its kind in New York.

The ice cream joint is located at 88 West Houston Street in Manhattan. There is also a location at 2 Rivington Street in the SoHo neighborhood of Manhattan.

Both stores are currently open for pickup and delivery from noon t0 10 p.m. every day.

"Morgenstern's Finest Ice Cream serves up more than 88 flavors in its New York City shops, and fans across the country can enjoy their favorites at home with nationwide shipping," writes the authors of The Daily Meal's rankings. "Flavors include classics like Cherry Chocolate Chip, but Morgenstern's also gets creative with flavors like Burnt Sage."

The Daily Meal put together the rankings by scouring online reviews, social media posts, local publications, and word-of-mouth tips.

Morgenstern's is currently open for pickup, where you can try an almost endless variety of flavors.

• Salted Caramel
• Charred Banana
• Olive Oil Chocolate Orange
• Mango Passion Rice
• Cardamon Lemon Jame

The Lower Manhattan ice cream shop also offers pies, cakes, and special novelty items. You can place an order on Morgenstern's website.
