1 Dead, 3 Hurt In Long Island Crash Between Motorcycle, Jeep
Police have identified the young man who died in the crash.

EAST MORICHES, NY — A motorcyclist was killed and three others were injured in an East Moriches crash Monday night, police said.
According to Suffolk County Police, the crash took place at 6:20 p.m. at the intersection of East Moriches Boulevard and Valley Drive.
Kevin Capurso, 21, of Eastport, was riding a 2017 Yamaha southbound on East Moriches Boulevard when he collided with a 1999 Jeep traveling eastbound on Valley Drive and attempting to make a left turn onto East Moriches Boulevard, police said.

Capurso was transported by East Moriches Community Ambulance to Peconic Bay Medical Center in Riverhead where he was pronounced dead, police said.
The driver of the Jeep, Kyle Botts, 18, of Manorville, and two of his passengers were transported by East Moriches Community Ambulance to Peconic Bay Medical Center, where they were treated for non-life threatening injuries, police said.

The vehicles were impounded for a safety check, and the investigation is continuing, police said.
