18-Year-Old Arrested After Robbing Quogue Gas Station: Police

He forcibly stole cash at the Speedway gas station, police say.

QUOGUE, NY — An 18-year-old from Quogue was arrested after he robbed a gas station early Saturday, police said.

According to Quogue Village Police, a call came in at 3:45 a.m. about a robbery at the Speedway gas station on Montauk Highway in Quogue. On Sunday, after an investigation, Cameron Depetris, 18, was arrested after he forcibly stole cash from the 22-year-old Quogue man, Quogue Village Police Department detectives said.

Depetris was charged with second-degree robbery, a felony, and third-degree menacing, a misdemeanor, police said. He was held overnight and slated for arraignment Monday morning, police said.
