2 Injured In Sunrise Highway Rollover Crash
The crash led to traffic snarls in Southampton Friday afternoon, police say.

SOUTHAMPTON, NY — Two people were hurt in a rollover crash on Sunrise Highway Friday afternoon, police said.
According to New York State Police, the crash took place around 2:30 p.m. on the Sunrise Highway just west of Country Road 39, at Exit 66 and the North Road, when one car rear-ended a second vehicle. The second vehicle was sent into the median and struck a tree and the first car rolled over, police said.
The two drivers were sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries, police said.

Sunrise Highway was closed in both directions during the crash, leading to traffic delays on Country Road 39, police said.
