4th Annual Kids' Beach Cleanup Contest Slated For Hampton Bays
Kids of all ages are invited to participate in the fun and environmentally conscious event.

WESTHAMPTON, NY — Teaching kids how to protect the natural environment can begin at an early age.
To that end, Southampton Town Councilwoman Christine Scalera and BEACH Magazine are sponsoring the fourth annual kids beach clean-up contest at Ponquogue Beach in Hampton Bays on Saturday, August 26 from 9:30 a.m. to 11 a.m., rain or shine.
The Annual Kids Beachcomber Clean-Up Contest is open to kids of all ages, organizers said; prizes from Hamptons Trading Company, Sunrise to Sunset/Flying Point Surf Shop and Hampton Sun will be given out to the winners.

The town will provide each participant with materials for the clean-up, including paper bags kids can decorate and personalize.
