8 Arrested On Drug, Prostitution Charges After Raid At Hampton Bays Home: Police

BREAKING: Eight people face charges, including two who are subject to deportation, police say.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY – Eight people face charges, including two who are subject to deportation, after a search warrant was executed at a Hampton Bays home Tuesday evening as part of an investigation into drug sales and prostitution in the area, State Police said.

At about 6:50 p.m., the New York State Police Narcotics Enforcement Unit in a joint investigation with the Suffolk County District Attorney’s East End Drug Task Force executed a warrant at 87 Foster Ave. with members of Southampton Town Police Department Emergency Service Unit and Detective Division.

Quantities of marihuana, cocaine and cash were recovered during the search, police said.

The following eight people were arrested at the residence:

William I. Neira, 21

  • charged with third degree promoting prostitution
  • arraigned and remanded to the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $7,500 cash bail

Juan Alberto, 39

  • of 10470 Main Road, Mattituck
  • charged with third degree patronizing a prostitute
  • arraigned and remanded to the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $5,000 cash bail

Fredy Oswaldo Espana-Tubac, 23

  • of 50 Flanders Boulevard South, Flanders
  • charged with third degree patronizing a prostitute
  • arraigned and remanded to the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $2,500 cash bail
  • The Department of Homeland Security, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a warrant of removal/deportation for Espana-Tubac.

Israel Bustillo, 19

  • of 424 Flanders Road, Riverhead
  • charged with third degree patronizing a prostitute and seventh degree criminal possession of a controlled substance (cocaine)
  • arraigned and remanded to the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $1,000 cash bail

Christian Diaz Paz, 21

  • no address released
  • charged with third degree promoting prostitution, second degree criminal possession of a forged instrument, false personation and two bench warrants
  • arraigned and remanded to the Suffolk County Jail in lieu of $30,000 cash bail
  • The Department of Homeland Security, US Immigration and Customs Enforcement has lodged a warrant of removal/deportation for Paz.

Alondra Rivera, 20

  • of 20 Richman Place, Bronx
  • charged with prostitution
  • issued an appearance ticket returnable in Southampton Town Justice Court on Aug. 18

Flora Cabral Taveras, 41

  • of 587 53rd St., West New York, N.J.
  • charged with prostitution
  • issued an appearance ticket returnable in Southampton Town Justice Court on Aug. 18

Maria Bustillo, 20

  • of 87 Foster Ave., Hampton Bays
  • charged with unlawful possession of marijuana
  • issued an appearance ticket returnable in Southampton Town Justice Court on Aug. 18
