U.S. Coast Guard Auxiliary To Host Boater Safety Class in Hampton Bays.

The Coast Guard Auxiliary is hosting a class to teach the NYS Boater Safety Requirements in Hampton Bays.

The United States Coast Guard Auxiliary East Moriches Flotilla will host a “Boat America” Boating Safety Class on Saturday, May 2, from 9:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. at the Hampton Bays Library.

The class is open to both children and adults ages 10 and older and meets the New York State boater education requirements needed to legally operate a boat, Jet Ski, or other personal watercraft.

Participants will learn essential boating safety skills, navigation rules, emergency procedures, and safe vessel operation from experienced Coast Guard Auxiliary instructors.
