• Suffolk County Police Set To Host Vehicle Auction In Westhampton Soon (patch.com) — Westhampton residents will soon have a chance to bid on about 80 impounded sedans and SUVs when the Suffolk County Police hold a vehicle auction at their Westhampton impound facility on September 26. Preview days on September 24 and 25, plus an hour before the sale, let bidders inspect vehicles, all sold as-is with minimum $500 bids.
   

• William Floyd Girls Tennis Is Rolling Through the County (southshorepress.com) — William Floyd's girls tennis team is surging toward the postseason and will soon visit Westhampton for back-to-back road matches in a key late-season stretch. Riding a five-match win streak and a 6-1 record, the Colonials just survived four matches in four days and now face Riverhead, Westhampton, and Rocky Point as they try to secure strong playoff positioning.
