Barbie Expert Visits Westhampton Free Library

The event takes place at noon Friday, and lunch is free.

WESTHAMPTON-HAMPTON BAYS- Barbie's living the dream: Dream house, dream guy, decades of at least 150 dream careers. Even at 57, she still looks great and is empowering young women everywhere.

And now, Barbie's making a visit to the Westhampton Free Library on Friday, where a "Lunch & Learn" with Barbie academic Meghann Ryan takes place at noon.

"March is Women's History Month and Barbie has been an important part of so many girls' lives — as well as so many discussions about her influence, that it seemed only natural to have Professor Ryan come talk about such a beloved and controversial part of American culture," said Nola Thacker, program coordinator of Westhampton Free Library
