LIE Lanes Reopen After Brush Fire: PD

SUFFOLK COUNTY, NY — A brush fire closed all westbound lanes of the Long Island Expressway at Exit 69 at William Floyd Parkway Tuesday afternoon, police said.

All lanes were reopened as of just before 6 p.m., police said.

Suffolk County police said the call came in at 2:50 p.m.
