The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will host the 2026 Hamptons Got Talent Competition on Friday, May 1 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm at Westhampton Beach High School, 49 Lilac Road. Eleven local youth in middle &amp; high school will showcase their talents and compete for prize packages in front of a panel of professional judges. This year’s competition will include a vast variety of musicians and solo artists. Generous prize packages include gift certificates donated by Bay Street Theater, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, Hampton Theatre Company, Dream Recording Studios, Edgewater Restaurant, Guild Hall, and Hampton Coffee Company among others. Throughout the evening, audience members will have the chance to win giveaways and vote for a People’s Choice Award. Admission is free and all are welcome! The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau’s Youth Advisory Committee will be hosting a Pancake Breakfast to celebrate Mother's Day weekend and to raise money for future community service projects on Saturday, May 9th from 9:00am - 11:30am at the Hampton Bays Community Center, 25 Ponquogue Avenue. Breakfast is $10/person or $20/family (up to four persons) when purchased in advance. Individuals can also arrive the day of event for $15/person or $25/family of four. Activities include crafts, trivia, Star Wars character appearances, and raffles for prizes from local businesses. Bideawee’s Westhampton facility: 118 Old Country Road, Westhampton, NY (Long Island)

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Bideawee will host its “Paws &amp; Petals” spring pet adoption event at its Westhampton facility at which the public is invited to come and meet the cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies available for adoption. Bideawee, one of the country’s oldest animal welfare and pet adoption organizations, is waiving adoption fees for all pets adopted during this event.

All who adopt at the event will receive a free gift bag. There will be a spring photo station set up for adopters and their new pet, along with coffee and treats (for people) from Hampton Coffee Company. From 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Pawcasso will be on hand with paw flower keepsakes (free for adopters).

Registration is open for the East End Volleyball junior program whose goal is to help individual athletes reach their full potential while growing their love for this lifelong sport. The multi-level program throughout at Tiana Beach in 2024 will allow players the opportunity to reach their highest level in the sport, which is why our beach club is called East End Vertical. Training takes place every Monday night, June 15 - Aug 17, 2026, 6-8 pm.
Beginning juniors can start with the Basic Skills Training program offered at Hampton Bays, which teaches basic volleyball skills while acclimating players to the beach game. Players receive coaching, an official Molten Beach Volleyball and an EEVB Juniors t-shirt.
The Tiana Beach program will also offer training for mid-level and skilled juniors. There will be separate nets and coaches for players of all levels including players hoping to advance to weekend doubles tournaments with a chance at getting into an NCAA college program.

We hope parents and players will consider one of our program options for young athletes at Tiana or other LI sites. These junior programs are part of East End Volleyball’s summer program, the largest beach volleyball program on the East Coast, which offers a variety playing opportunities for adult and junior players of all levels. Adults can play in weeknight leagues or weekend tournaments with divisions for novice, intermediate and skilled level players.
