Who Speaks for You? Advance Directives & Power of Attorney

Looking for something fun to do in Southampton this week? Our beginner-friendly Latin and ballroom dance classes run every Tuesday evening and are open to adults of all levels.
No partner or experience needed — most people joining are completely new to dancing.
Classes are led by professional instructors Val &amp; Neda in a relaxed, social environment designed to help you feel comfortable from the start.

The State of the Bays Symposium, presented by the Gobler Lab at Stony Brook Southampton, is an annual event that brings together leading scientists, local leaders, and community members to better understand the health of our coastal waters. It will highlight recent water quality and public health threats in coastal waters while also identifying innovative solutions to these complex problems.
This year’s message is clear: We are out of time to wait, but not out of solutions.

The Town of Southampton Youth Bureau will host the 2026 Hamptons Got Talent Competition on Friday, May 1 from 7:00pm – 10:00pm at Westhampton Beach High School, 49 Lilac Road. Eleven local youth in middle &amp; high school will showcase their talents and compete for prize packages in front of a panel of professional judges. This year’s competition will include a vast variety of musicians and solo artists. Generous prize packages include gift certificates donated by Bay Street Theater, Westhampton Beach Performing Arts Center, Hampton Theatre Company, Dream Recording Studios, Edgewater Restaurant, Guild Hall, and Hampton Coffee Company among others. Throughout the evening, audience members will have the chance to win giveaways and vote for a People’s Choice Award. Admission is free and all are welcome! Bideawee’s Westhampton facility: 118 Old Country Road, Westhampton, NY (Long Island)

On Saturday, May 9, 2026, from 11:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m., Bideawee will host its “Paws &amp; Petals” spring pet adoption event at its Westhampton facility at which the public is invited to come and meet the cats, dogs, kittens, and puppies available for adoption. Bideawee, one of the country’s oldest animal welfare and pet adoption organizations, is waiving adoption fees for all pets adopted during this event.

All who adopt at the event will receive a free gift bag. There will be a spring photo station set up for adopters and their new pet, along with coffee and treats (for people) from Hampton Coffee Company. From 12:00 p.m. – 2:00 p.m., Pawcasso will be on hand with paw flower keepsakes (free for adopters).
