In honor of America’s Semiquincentennial, the 250th Anniversary of the birth of our nation, The Greater Westhampton Historical Museum will be hosting a fair on the Great Lawn featuring the crafts of yesteryear.
The fair is slated to run from 10:00 AM to 2:00 PM and will include basket weaving, historic cooking demonstrations, wool and flax spinning, farm animals, broom-making, candle making, and more crafts associated with American life circa 1776.
The fair is free to attend, although donations are most welcome, and the Museum will be on hand with our books, t-shirts, hats, and other items for sale to support our programs. If the stars align, there may also be tours of the historic Dix Windmill on offer!
