Westhampton Beach Farmers Market At Village Green

Westhampton Beach resident Edward "EJ" Mullally V, 12, is once again stepping up to support the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation.
This year marks EJ's fourth year participating in the Tunnel to Towers Run/Walk and his biggest fundraising goal yet — raising $4,000 or more in honor of the Foundation's mission to support our nation's heroes, Gold Star families, and first responders.
What began as simply participating in the event has grown into a true passion for EJ. In his first year, he raised $565.00. In his second year, he participated but did not fundraise. Last year, he raised $2,500, and this year he hopes to make an even bigger impact.
The 2026 event holds special significance as our nation commemorates the 25th anniversary of September 11, 2001. The Tunnel to Towers Foundation was established in honor of FDNY firefighter Stephen Siller, who gave his life on 9/11.
EJ recently became a first-year member of the Westhampton Beach Fire Department Junior Program, following in the footsteps of his mother, Maria Mullally, who serves as a volunteer firefighter with the department.
With support from the Westhampton Beach community, including opportunities to fundraise at the Westhampton Beach Farmers Market, EJ continues to demonstrate that age is no barrier to making a difference.
EJ will be at the Westhampton Beach Farmers Market on Saturday, July 11, raising funds and sharing information about the Tunnel to Towers Foundation. He has also created posters featuring a QR code to his fundraising page, which he will be posting throughout the local community for anyone who would like to support his efforts.

Southold Historical Museum Maple Lane Campus

Celebrate America's Birthday Party at Southold Historical Museum's Maple Lane Campus on Saturday, July 11, from 10:00 AM to 3:00 PM, during a special Living History Revolutionary War Encampment commemorating America's 250th.
Experience the sights and sounds of the Revolutionary era as reenactors from the Third New York Regiment recreate an authentic military encampment. Explore soldiers' tents and equipment, learn about daily camp life, and discover what it was like to march with General George Washington's Continental Army.
This family-friendly celebration offers something for everyone. Children can play traditional colonial games in the historic Bayview Schoolhouse and on the museum grounds, while visitors of all ages can join a spirited Hamilton sing-along in the Reichert Family Barn. Throughout the day, enjoy living history demonstrations, artisan vendors, food tastings, light refreshments, and the thunder of a live cannon firing.
The festivities conclude with the presentation of America's birthday cake as we celebrate 250 years of our nation's history and the enduring legacy of 1776.
