Capturing Leprechauns For St. Patrick's Day In Hampton Bays
Schoolchildren in Hampton Bays got into the St. Patrick's Day spirit, dressing in green and designing magical leprechaun traps.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — No blarney — some children in Hampton Bays learned how to capture magical leprechauns for St. Patrick's Day.
Hampton Bays Elementary School kindergartners in Mindy Brown’s class used their imaginations to design shoebox leprechaun traps that were baited with “gold,” a release from the district said.
To celebrate the festive day, students also made paper shamrocks and dressed in green.
