Car Careens Through 7-Eleven Window, Injures 2

WESTHAMPTON, NY — A car careened through the window of the 7-Eleven in Westhampton Beach Friday, injuring two people, officials said.

According to Westhampton Beach Village Mayor Maria Moore, a woman drove through into the store and two people sustained minor injuries, she said. She added that although details were still unclear, she did not believe charges would be filed.

When reached by phone, the manager said: "A car drove through the window. That's all I can tell you."

Police and the Westhampton War Memorial Ambulance were not immediately available for comment and no further information was immediately available.
