Councilwoman Teams Up with 106th, Remsenburg Students to Send Love to Troops
Fourth graders worked hard on the care packages at the Remsenburg-Speonk Elementary School.
REMSENBURG, NY - Troops overseas will be finding gifts of love in the mail soon, packed with love by East End students.
Southampton Town Councilwoman Christine Scalera joined the 106 Rescue Team out of Gabreski airport, Rocco A. Carriero Wealth Partners and Remsenburg Speonk Elementary School's fourth grade class Tuesday to pack care packages that will be sent overseas to local service men and women.
Each package contains a card signed by the fourth grade class and items such as socks, bandages, snacks and assorted sundries.
