Crash Closes Quogue Road Wednesday Morning: PD
The 71-year-old has a medical emergency, police say.
QUOGUE, NY — A crash in Quogue early Wednesday led to a road closure, police said.
According to Quogue Village Police, the single-car crash took place at about 6:38 a.m. when the driver veered into the woods on Montauk Highway near the intersection of Catbrier Road.
Police found the pickup in the woods, with the single occupant, a 71-year-old male, in the driver's seat suffering a medical emergency, authorities said.

He was treated and taken to Peconic Bay Medical Center by Westhampton War Memorial Ambulance, police said.
The roadway was closed from 6:45 a.m. through 8:05 a.m. while the crash was investigated by Quogue Village police officers and detectives, police said.
