Drunk Driver Cuffed After Crash On Sunrise Highway Exit Ramp: Cops

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Flanders man was charged with driving while intoxicated after a crash, police said.

According to New York State Police, Antonio Villalon-Torres, 52, was arrested on Oct. 9 and charged with DWI following the crash, which involved property damage and took place as he was heading east on Sunrise Highway on the Exit 66 off ramp in Hampton Bays.

Villalon-Torres was transported to New York State Police Barracks Riverside where he was processed; he is due back at Southampton Town Justice Court on Oct. 23, police said.
