Drunk Woman Crashes Into Parked Car: Police

BREAKING: The woman was also charged with leaving the scene, police said.

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays woman was arrested after she drove drunk, crashed into a parked car, and left the scene, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, Norma Reyes-Bonilla, 37, was arrested Saturday at 12:59 p.m. on West Montauk Highway in Hampton Bays after she was involved in a Montauk Highway crash, during which she struck the parked car.

Upon investigation, police determined that Reyes-Bonilla was intoxicated, authorities said.

She was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated, a misdemeanor, unlicensed operation, a violation, move from lane unsafely, a violation, and leaving the scene of an accident, a violation, police said.

Reyes-Bonilla was transported to the Southampton Town police headquarters for processing and held for morning arraignment, police said.
