Equipment Stolen From East Quogue Residential Construction Site: PD

The stolen item is valued at about $6,000, police say.

EAST QUOGUE, NY — The search is on for whoever stole a piece of equipment from a residential construction site in East Quogue, police said.

According to Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police Department detectives, an Ingersoll Rand brand “Brushcat” skid steer attachment for a bobcat was stolen from a residence on Walker Court sometime between May 15 and June 8.

The cost of the attachment is about $6,000 and it was likely transported by more than one person, police said.

The phone above depicts a a similar- looking piece of equipment; the stolen attachment has noticeable wear and tear, police said.
