Mysore-style Class is the traditional method of learning Ashtanga Yoga, as taught by Sri K P Jois. It can be described as self-practice within a group setting, where each student moves through the sequence of poses individually. The instructor moves about the room adjusting and correcting, working one-on-one with the practitioners. New students are taught the sequence of poses from the beginning, building the duration of the practice each day by learning new postures. This style of class allows students to learn at their unique pace, and to receive instruction specific to their practice. It is not necessary to know the sequence from memory to attend this style class; this is where to learn, at your own pace, the sequence of poses.

Dhruva practices and teaches Ashtanga Yoga. He has been teaching for more than 4 years, and continues to practice and study every moment of his life. He has had the pleasure of studying with Corey Derosa, David Swenson, Saraswathi Rangaswami, and Dr. M.A. Jayashree.“I am passionate about learning new skills, and enjoy having a teacher. I have struggled to teach myself various skills, some of which have developed, and other of which have faded. I truly love learning from someone who is extremely experienced in a skill, and who loves their skill to such an intensity that they feel compelled to teach it - like an overflow of love.
