The Town of Southampton will be placing a historic marker at the site of the former Shinnecock Bay Lighthouse at 11 a.m.
The ceremony will be led by members of the Town Board, Landmarks and Historic Districts Board, and the Hampton Bays Historical Society.
This event will take place as part of Coast Guard Station Shinnecock's Open House that is taking place from 10 a.m. to 3 p.m.
