Firefighters Battle Blaze In East Quogue
BREAKING: A brush fire and a piece of heavy equipment caused thick, heavy black smoke, officials at the scene said.
EAST QUOGUE, NY — Firefighters rushed to the scene of a blaze in East Quogue Monday evening, officials said.
According to firefighters at the scene, the fire broke out off Lewis Road, near East Coast Mines; the blaze is a combination of a brush fire and a piece of heavy equipment burning, sources said.
East Quogue, Hampton Bays, Quogue and Riverhead Fire Departments responded to the scene.
