First Graders Teach The Grinch A Lesson
The Grinch had no chance to steal Christmas; he got schooled by some adorable first graders in Westhampton Beach recently.
WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — The Grinch didn't have a chance to steal Christmas in Westhampton Beach, thanks to some adorable first graders.
Westhampton Beach Elementary School first-graders have been on a mission to teach the Grinch how to be kind and have a loving heart, the district said.
Students have been writing kind thoughts on red paper hearts that are displayed on a hallway bulletin board.

"Every heart added to the display is intended to make the Grinch's heart soften and grow bigger," district officials said.
The project is part of an ongoing schoolwide initiative geared toward teaching students the importance of being kind to others.
