Hampton Bays Author Creates Imaginary World for All Ages to Enjoy

HAMPTON BAYS, NY, Nov. 4th - The Life Inside Maggie Pincus, a new book by local author, was released July 19, 2019. What would life be like living inside the human body? What if you were also a 12 year-old orphan, saved from a life of servitude with an awful step-mother and three evil step-brothers? What if your new life now consists of being less than ant-sized and you are learning about a war, in which the best outcome largely depends on you?

David Billingham has been the camp director of The Southampton Fresh Air Home for over 20 years. Writing and art have been his passion, with much of his art has been sold at his wife’s wellness center in Hampton Bays. Billingham lives in Hampton Bays with his 3 children and his wife, whom he met at The Southampton Fresh Air Home 26 years ago.
