Hampton Bays Fire Department Parade Sparks Road Closures
Here's what to expect on Wednesday as the festivities kick off.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — Southampton police have announced road closures in advance of Wednesday's Annual Hampton Bays Fire Department Parade.
The parade takes place on Wednesday, Aug. 2 at 7 p.m. Ponquogue Avenue will be closed between Montauk Highway and Lynncliff Road. Montauk Highway will be closed from Bittersweet South Extension to Flanders Road (SR24).
Traffic will be detoured around those road closures. Road closures should be anticipated from 6:30 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., police said, asking motorists to please avoid the area during those times.
