Hampton Bays Man Nabbed In Narcotics Crackdown: Police
He was arrested after an extended narcotics investigation, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested in a drug crackdown Friday, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, the Suffolk County District’s Attorney's Office East End Drug Task Force and the Southampton Town Police Department's emergency service unit executed a search warrant in the area of Springville Road after an extended narcotics investigation.
William Kassar, 65, was arrested and charged with first-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, an A felony; fourth degree criminal possession of a narcotic drug, a C felony; four counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, intent to sell, B felonies; three counts of third-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, intent to sell, B felonies; two counts of second-degree criminal sale of a controlled substance, A felony; and two counts of second-degree criminal use of drug paraphernalia, A misdemeanors, police said.

Kassar was arraigned at Southampton Town Justice Court and remanded to the Suffolk County jail, police said.
