Hamptons International Film Festival Announces Full Slate

The festival, which will take place starting Thursday, Oct. 9, will include films such as "The Last 5 Years" and "Learning to Drive"

The Hamptons International Film Festival (HIFF) has released the full slate of spotlight films for the festival taking place from Thursday, Oct. 9 to Monday, Oct. 13.

This year’s Spotlight films include the US premieres of “The Last 5 Years”, “Learning to Drive” and ”Elephant Song”; the East Coast premieres of “The Imitation Game”, ”Laggies”, ”Madame Bovary”, “Nightcrawler”, and ”Song One”; addition Spotlights include “Birdman or (The Unexpected Virtue of Ignorance)“, “Clouds of Sils Maria”, “Time Out of Mind”, and “Two Days, One Night” (Deux Jours, Une Nuit).

Sponsored by Delta Air Lines and Altour International, HIFF’s World Cinema section of the program will include three world premieres, six North American premieres and 15 U.S. premieres. This year’s Festival will include films from over 29 countries.

The Festival is proud to have the World Premieres of “Banksy Does New York”, “Wildlike” and “My Italian Secret: The Forgotten Heroes”; the U.S. premiere of “The Last Impresario”, the East Coast premiere of “Dancing Arabs”, and the New York premiere of “Force Majeure ‘Turist’”.

HIFF has also announced that the festival will close with the US premiere of “Still Alice” on Monday, October 13 at Guild Hall in East Hampton.

St. Vincent will be the opening night film at Guild Hall in East Hampton on Thursday, Oct. 9.
