HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays High School senior who's a familiar face on the local green has earned a full-ride scholarship, the district said.

Senior Aidan Kamp will be attending the University of Michigan College of Literature, Science and the Arts on a full-tuition and housing scholarship granted to him by the Evans Scholars Foundation, the Hampton Bays Union Free School District said.

Kamp earned the Chick Evans Scholarship for Caddies for his "outstanding academics, character and strong caddie record — he has been employed as a caddie at the Shinnecock Hills Golf Club for the past four years," the district said.
