Kindergartners Learn About Dr. Martin Lurther King, Jr.
Even the youngest children learned about the life of the civil rights leader.
WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — Westhampton Beach Elementary School students had a dream, learning about the life of Dr. Martin Luther King Jr. recently.
Kindergartners in Patricia DeCicco’s class marked Martin Luther King Jr.’s birthday with a number of activities during the week of Jan. 8; they read about and discussed Dr. King’s life and created colorful posters about the famous civil rights leader, according to the district.
