Library Budgets Approved in Westhampton and Quogue
Library director thanks community for support.
As residents took to the polls for their respective in Westhampton Beach and Quogue, they were also asked to vote yes or no on their library budgets.
The $2.4 million budget, which carries with it a tax levy increase of 1.71 percent was adopted in a 409 to 256 vote.
Of the vote, , director of the Westhampton Library said, “I am very happy the residents voted to support the library yesterday. It is always great to have a successful vote.”

The positive vote comes on the heals of other good news for the library — it recently received an honorable mention as a , an online and print media publication.
The $522,100 budget was also approved.

Quogue Library Director Christine Clifton was not available for a comment as of press time.
