WESTHAMPTON BEACH, NY — East End students continue to shine.
Westhampton Beach sophomore Sydney Sheren was recently recognized with a $50 cash award from the League of Women Voters for questions she posed following a congressional debate between Congressman Lee Zeldin and Anna Throne-Holst, held at Westhampton Beach High School, according to a release from the district.
The contest sought feedback from students that can assist in improving future political debates. In total, 11 students participated.
