Man Arrested After Being Found With Stolen Vehicle In East Quogue: Police

He was arrested Friday, police say.

EAST QUOGUE, NY —A Flanders man was arrested after he was found driving a stolen car, police said.

According to Southampton Town police, on Friday at about 8:32 p.m, officers stopped a motor vehicle on Oakville Avenue in East Quogue that was previously reported stolen.

The driver of the vehicle, Gerado Rodriguez-Hernandez, 34, was arrested and transported to Southampton Town police headquarters, where he was held for morning arraignment at Southampton Town Justice Court, police said.

Rodriguez-Hernandez was charged with third-degree criminal possession of stolen propery, a felony; and third-degree grand larceny, a felony, police said.
