Man In Audi Pries Open Window Of Car, Steals Purse: Cops

WESTHAMPTON, NY — A man in an Audi pried open the window of a car and stole a purse recently, police said.

Suffolk County Crime Stoppers and Southampton Town Police detectives are asking for the public’s help to identify and find the man who opened the window of a 2014 Nissan parked at the Suffolk County Nature Preserve, located at 613 Old Riverhead Road, on June 26 at 12:40 p.m. and stole the purse, police said.

The man fled the scene in a white Audi Q7, shown above.
