Man Charged After Stabbing At Westhampton Home: Police
The stabbing occurred during a verbal and physical dispute at a Westhampton home, police say.
WESTHAMPTON, NY — A man was arrested early Friday after a stabbing in Westhampton, police said.
According to Southampton Town police, a report came in at 4:42 a.m. about someone who'd been stabbed and was being treated at Peconic Bay Medical Center for non-life threatening injuries.
The stabbing occurred in Westhampton at a private residence at about 1 a.m., police said. The stabbing occurred after a verbal and physical dispute between two people who knew each other, police said.

Ricky Harris, 36, of Westhampton, turned himself in; he was arrested and charged with second-degree assault, a felony, and fourth-degree criminal possession of a weapon, a misdemeanor, police said.
He was processed at the Southampton Town Police Department and was slated for arraignment Friday, police said.
