Man Charged After Yelling, Breaking Window At Local Business: PD

HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Hampton Bays man was arrested after walking along Montauk Highway Friday night, yelling and punching store windows, breaking one, police said.

According to Southampton Town Police, the incident took place at 7:31 p.m.; authorities responded and found a broken window at a local business, police said. David Krouse, 62, was arrested and charged with third-degree criminal mischief, a felony, and disorderly conduct, a violation, police said.

Krouse was processed at Southampton Town Police Department headquarters and released for a later court date, police said.
