Man Charged With Assault After Altercation Near 7-Eleven: Police
He threw another man to the ground, punching and kicking him, police say.
HAMPTON BAYS, NY — A Shirley man was arrested and charged after an altercation in Hampton Bays early Tuesday, police said.
According to Southampton Town Police, at 12:18 a.m., a patrol officer responded to the 7-Eleven on West Montauk Highway after the report of a disturbance involving a small group of individuals.

James C. Licausi, 53, of Shirley, was arrested and charged with third-degree assault, a misdemeanor, police said. He was taken to Southampton Town Police headquarters where he was processed then released on an appearance ticket with a future arraignment date, police said.
